Riverside Retreat is less than 2 miles from the Cathedral City of Truro on the South Coast of Cornwall.


Our newly refurbished bungalow sleeping 2-5 (discounts for couples) has stunning views over the Truro River and is situated in the village of Malpas.


Malpas is in an area of outstanding natural beauty and is a walker's and birdwatcher's paradise.


Leave the car in the drive and explore this idyllic creekside setting.


The lounge is a sunny room with balcony and views as shown above. The lounge furniture consists of a contemporary black leather 3 seater settee and 2 stressless reclining leather chairs. There is a TV, Video/DVD Player, CD Player and occasional tables. The room also has a reading area with chairs and bookcase.


The master bedroom with super king size bed/TV and the dining room also have balconies and share the same mesmerising views. The 2nd bedroom has 2 single beds. It is possible to sleep a 5th person in the reading area of the lounge.


The newly refurbished kitchen includes a dishwasher, oven, gas hob, microwave and integrated fridge with freezer compartment.


The bathroom is a generously proportioned room with a spacious bath and separate shower.


Central heating (off season) electric and all bedding are included. Beds will be made up for your arrival, please bring your own towels.


Riverside has a south facing patio with furniture and barbeque. There is private off road parking for several cars.


From the bungalow it is a 2 minute walk further into the village where you will find the local pub The Heron Inn, the quaint village shop and Malpas Marina. Travel by boat from Malpas and visit Falmouth, St Mawes, or Trelissick Gardens. Within a quarter of a mile is a riverside woodland walk to St Clements. In the opposite direction you will find Sunny Corner (below), the beautiful Boscawen Park complete with its Duck Pond, Tennis Courts, Childrens' Playground, Football Pitch, Cricket Ground and the relaxing Park Restaurant. St Agnes is a 20 minute drive away.
